Especially for hydraulic pumps, travel motors, and swing reducers, the performance is very close to original, but delivery is much faster and prices are more reasonable.
One contractor in Thailand told me he saved nearly 35% on maintenance costs last year after switching to reliable compatible parts. That said, you really need to choose carefully because not every supplier can deliver the same level of quality. In my experience, working with a dependable one makes a big difference in the long run. From what I’m seeing on the ground, more and more people will likely go this route as we move further into 2026.
